I'm often asked about how I will cope with a certain circumstance or what will happen in different situations, here are some of the common answers with some solutions

 1. What if it rains? I don't want to get my dress dirty We can't avoid the weather, however we can be prepared. I always investigate a venue before the Wedding or Ceremony and calculate some options for 'wet' days. I discuss with the Wedding coordinator and couple options that we can use and we agree on an outcome. I also carry towels and blankets in the car - not for if you get cold, but to lay on the ground to protect the bride's dress if we get a break in the weather but don't want the dress trailing in rain water - after the day I edit it out - have a look below. Also if there is a special location that gets rained off, I will alway make myself available after the Wedding day to 'Catch Up' the pictures

 2. Can you edit out and improve the pictures? Yes is the short answer and is part of modern photography. A clear example is below, let me explain - at a recent Wedding the couples young lad was clinging to a bag of crisps for dear life. If we took them off him he cried his little heart out. So I took the shot with the crisps in place and then edited it out later, no one need be any the wiser.

 3. What if the background spoils the shot but we can't take it anywhere else? This can happen and is usually involves the cars or similar large 'prop'. As with other shots we can shoot in situ and 'help' the background later. Have alook below, the carpark was great apart from the massive advertising board and the other cars. Still photoshop to the resuce and a nice picture prevailed that was included in the couples album.
